Note that testing was inconvenient, as this kernel is not supported by the dkms tool, so I can't install the wl module; the open source broadcom wifi module has disappeared in this release, so no network while testing... :(
radeontool gave exactly the same error as before, most things seemed to work right. To note: with linux-image-3.2.0-31-generic the machine never gets shut down, it stays on until I press the button; with linux- image-3.6.0-030600rc5-generic it shuts down correctly... I hope one day I will buy new hardware and it will work without having to wait one year :( ** Tags removed: needs-upstream-testing ** Tags added: kernel-bug-exists-upstream ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1049101 Title: Radeon tool does not work with a Radeon HD 6320 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1049101/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
