This has been fixed in 2.4.1-4, which is now in Debian unstable and testing. Unfortunately, 2.4.1-4 fails to build for quantal. The package builds fine for all architectures in Debian unstable: https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=cvc3 The build failure is seemingly due to a problem in gmp 2:5.0.2+dfsg-2ubuntu1.
