Hello Tom, or anyone else affected, Accepted gnome-vfs into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome- vfs/1:2.24.4-1ubuntu2.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
