I would, but since 12.10 is using an older version of nautilus, I'm guessing the chance of the fix being applied to 12.10 is pretty slim unless you backport it. Also, I'm hoping that Ubuntu move onto another file manager that doesn't theaten to remove features every release. The gnome team has some warped vision that I don't agree with anymore. I'd prefer using Marlin over Nautilus any day.
I'm thinking this fix wouldn't require too much effort.
