No, i still need to use alternative DE for gaming. I think it will be better to wait for https://launchpad.net/unity/6.0/6.4 . A will be tommorow without internet access, so i can't test it. I'll write you when i try out Unity 6.4. And i can try gnome panel or shell - to desire where is bug (unity vs compiz).
