I've reviewed some of the tests that were performed for this bug. To summarize:
v3.2-rc1: Has bug. v3.2-rc2 through v3.2-rc4: Do not have bug. v3.2-rc5: Has bug again. I think we should actually be bisecting between v3.2-rc4 and v3.2-rc5.
