I have a Lenovo G470, and followed the steps to certify that the notebook does not have an inverted microphone. It turns out it doesn't.
Nevertheless, have installed alsa-hda-dkms_0.1_all.deb to give it a try. The microphone started working OK on Skype after that, but the output sound of the speakers were suddenly really noisy and polluted (only on Skype). I decided to uninstall the package, and the microphone obviously is not working anymore. I can provide more information about the machine if needed. I am also following bug 1033011. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1002978 Title: [meta-bug] Inverted Internal microphone (phase inversion) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/1002978/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
