Public bug reported: Ubuntu is randomly throwing me back out to the logon screen. There doesn't seem to be any particular pattern to it, although initially it was happening frequently when trying to watch videos on YouTube. This is a new install on an ASUS EeePC 900. I have a hunch that it might happen when I'm low on memory, but the X server ought to be the last thing to be terminated if that is the case?
I think this is the same as bug #980519 - however there is some insistence on that report that it is a Nvidia driver bug. My Eee has integrated Intel graphics. If more information is required please let me know.
