So I did a new customized CD with UCK, for which the problem is reproducable (so it's not a one-time fluke).
Considering that the problem occurs in the "Creating User..." phase, I ran the installer again, but now with ecrypfs disabled, and I got no errors that way. So this is likely an ecryptfs related issue. Is there any chance some regression with regard to ecryptfs was introduced? Is there a way (like a parameter to ubiquity) with which it will show me what commands it's executing (including the commands output)? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1035679 Title: Ubuntu Installer crashes during installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1035679/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
