I installed 12.04 64Bit on an Acer 5755 series laptop (this model does
NOT contain an nvida card). The system was working fine, until a recent
update has now since rendered watching flash impossible. Due to the
increased speed at which the videos are playing.

Rather ironically this happened just moments before I was due to show my
friend what a formidable option as an OS Ubuntu is, especially LTS.
Needless to say, many of my friends and family are going to need quite a
bit more convincing thanks to issues such as this.
