Upstream bug report: https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42981 Patch: https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/1133941/
Seems like the patch finally went in 3.5-rc5 and 3.2.22: https://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v3.0/ChangeLog-3.2.22 So I guess this should be fixed with the latest kernel which went into precise-updates. I will let you know if this problem would still be occuring anyway. ** Bug watch added: Linux Kernel Bug Tracker #42981 http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42981 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1035216 Title: kworker and power_saving processes stuck in D state To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1035216/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
