Hello Dave, 1. I have run the script on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/AlsaInfo as mentioned by you in the questions section #198785. Afterwards I sent the result to Alsa Project; a copy is attached here.
2. I started above apport-collect script and gave access to my launchpad account. Didn't know that this would generate a second bug report for als project.
