I rolled back to 11.10 . Couldn't take it anymore. First I tried an ATI/AMD card but didn't know too much about the card - I think it might have been 10+ years old. Should have done more research. Long story short - I busted 12.04 trying to get it to work. So instead of re- installing 12.04 I just re-installed 11.10 . Sorry for tapping out guys but I have a stable system with Unity and Compiz. Really NVIDIA??? Next computer will not have an NVIDIA card (if I can help it). Just giving up on NVIDIA - not Ubuntu. Not really noticing missing any features of 12.04 - Or am I ?
