This affects Lubuntu 12.04 & I suggest to maybe report this as a bug to the Ubiquity installer. Ubiquity could be made to proceeed in "Wubi mode", thereby adapting & applying computer settings for a Wubi installation. See also: Remove hibernation button in Wubi bug #607848
