Mr. Wheeler: This is not a support query for three reasons: 1. X crashes. 2. It's the configuration made by the installer. 3. I do not want closed source drivers. (except the installer recommends/installs them automatically.)
"3D support" would be nice, but I do not need it. However, if I start an application requireing "3D support" but I have no "3D support", the application should exit and tell me that it won't run without "3D support". Instead X crashes. I do not want to modify stuff manually, if I would want that I'd installd debian or gentoo. However, I would have queried support, if I wanted to have the problem only solved for me. Instead I want it solved for everyone.
