Public bug reported: I tried to get a screenshot to help ID this bug but unity won't take a screenshot with the menu open.
Running Ubuntu 12.04 and unity What I believe is called the network-manager-applet or if I have the name wrong it's the wireless network icon in the upper right hand corner. When I click on it after my pc has been running for a while and try to select a wireless network the only thing that appears is a .5 inch long by 1/8 inch box. Restarting unity with unity --restart doesn't clear up the problem. Logging out however and logging back in the problem remedies itself. Killing X and restarting also cures the problem. Restarting the machine also cures the problem. affects ubuntu/network-manager-applet ** Affects: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1032082 Title: network-manager-applet doesn't show wireless networks just a tiny box To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager-applet/+bug/1032082/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
