Public bug reported: I am running several Lucid servers and only some of them are having a problem where intializing the VM for pylucene causes the CPU to get pegged. They all have gigabytes of memory free, so I don't believe that to be relevant. I can make this happen without even calling any pylucene functions.
Steps: 1) Run 'python' 2) import lucene 3) lucene.initVM(lucene.CLASSPATH) at this point the CPU utilization hits about 60-70% in top. This was not a problem until about a month ago. If anyone has suggestions on how I could narrow this down I would really appreciate it. ** Affects: pylucene (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1031975 Title: pegging CPU after VM initialization To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pylucene/+bug/1031975/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
