In addidition to my previous post. I noticed that I actually can use the 
database application if I disable java in the Tools>Options>java.
So It seems to be linked with the JRE. Maybe there's something missing in the 
64 bits version. Yet it is quite useful to link a database with jdbc. So it 
definitely has to work with Java enabled.
