I've discovered another way to reproduce this bug, using this method I've managed to reproduce every time.
Steps: 1 - Go to Workspace4(bottom right) 2 - Open a terminal or any other application that isn't already open 3 - Place on the monitor edge, as shown in the picture http://ubuntuone.com/2kaoFvKaaIJsTuRnDhG9x8 4 - Change to Workspace1 5 - Click the Launcher entry for the application from step 2 6 - Window is moved and misplaced in workspace1 http://ubuntuone.com/2dNVRXhWV8mj2X2EByE1A6 7 - It's expected that the app window doesn't move and stays in Workspace4 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996098 Title: Window changes workspace when placed on edge (dual monitor) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/996098/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
