I also experience the same issue, except in my case you can reproduce it in one of the following ways. The all have something in common.
First way: 1. Start Google Chrome and open Gmail. Make sure the notifications are enabled, eg. by opening other tab and sending yourself an email. 2. Open Nexuiz in full screen mode. 3. Send yourself an email, so the notification appears within the game. 4. Try to close the game. You will see console and then login screen, but without ability to login to existing session. Second way: 1. Start skype and make sure notifications are enabled (eg. by logging as someone else and seeing if you will be notified about your other account appearing online). 2. Perform steps 2.-4. from the first way to reproduce, except cause some Skype notification to appear instead of sending yourself an email (obviously).
