To Mr. McIntyre (and anyone else): This bug relates to the PACKAGE for Rosegarden in Ubuntu, not necessarily the app itself. You may not be used to it in other distros, but in Ubuntu, things are supposed to automagically JustWork after they are installed ;)
JACK and anything else Rosegarden may need should be automatically installed and configured as a dependency when someone installs the package for Rosegarden. Don't take it personal...
