Thank you for this bug report. I'm afraid this bug has too many potential targets: in order to get the right people to fix the problem (and there are probably really several individual interoperation problems). It would be helpful to split this bug apart into several distinct bug reports, in each case on the "receiver" of the drag-and-drop (if it turns out to be an error in the "sender", we can change it accordingly).
For example, submit a bug against Gtk for failure to receive a drag-and- drop of the text from Firefox (but, note that I am able to drop it fine, into gvim from vim-gnome; however, vim may well handle things very differently from the Gtk default mechanisms). ** Changed in: Ubuntu Status: New => Invalid -- Drag Chinese texts between application causes garbled texts https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/58458 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
