In my case I've discovered that, if I connect a microphone to the back mic connector, gnome-control-center detects it but can't get any sound from it.
If I connect a microphone to the front connection everything works as expected. So I've used this to workaround this bug. Note: I've I run alsamixer I can see that when I select rear microphone, read mic is selected as input source, so it seems to work, but no sound comes through (it work before the upgrade so I don't think there's any hardware problem involved). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/979326 Title: [soudnua]: No Input Level is detected for all my microphones To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/979326/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
