Hi, I just took a look at http://www.libsdl.org/ and it looks like the current stable release is 1.2, but 2.0 will be released soon. Therefore it sounds like it would be better at this point to just wait for 2.0 and not bother with 1.3 which wasn't even actually released as far as I can see.
