This is really serious for me, because I need to resolve the address of an internal Kerberos Server, who's IP is not public. We use /etc/hosts for that. So Kerberos relies on DNS and this problem breaks my config and a lot of other user's as well. So at the moment we cannot login, beacuase /etc/hosts always worked in my time working with Unix. This even works in Windows :-(
