Hi Joseph, I've tested 12.04+updates - problem still exists. (we knew that) - I tried v3.4-rc2/v3.4-rc3 and BOTH kernels do not resume from suspend and the video doesn't restore itself at all, so my only path is to power the machine off and power it back on. Please advise, it would appear this is a larger issue that just the touchpad as per the original bug.
