So it looks like we're waiting on a response from Eva? What's the best way to track the changes made by updates in 12.04? I am willing to do a fresh install but I have a feeling it's one of the updates that makes the stop working from a fresh-install to an up-to-date install. Plus is it best to track these updates if I update via 'sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade' or should I just use the update manager gui?
