Public bug reported:

The Ubuntu Software Center seems to hang after 5+ packages are in the
progress section.

Each time I click install on a package (after the 5 packages are already
in the progress section), the Software Center hangs for a while when
adding the package to the progress section.

The more packages that are in the progress section, the longer the hang
seems to be.

Eventually, when it reaches 30 packages in the progress section, the
Software Center occasionally crashes, and/or hangs permanantly.
