Tijn, you were asking for the manufacturing date. Mine is 11/12/06, not the same week but it is the same month.
I have the U300s version with an i5 CPU. I can happily report that I haven't had the keyboard issues for a while now. I still didn't figure out why I had them before, or why I don't have problems anymore now.
