Hi Christian (chri-dion), The packages you mentioned in post #11, I have already installed since the bug report. And the way you launch the bluetooth wizard works.
BUT, the bug reported is about mate-bluetooth-wizard and other MATE bluetooth apps . The gnome bluetooth wizard (bluetooth-wizard) is working fine and this I've said from the beginning (see point 5 in the bug description; it's true that I was not so clear there). Btw, there's no need to be root. You can launch the gnome bt wizard from the terminal under you regular user without sudo. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1005649 Title: bluetooth software not working on Linux Mint 13 MATE To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/linuxmint/+bug/1005649/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
