I have the same issue with a Gigabyte T1125P However I have managed to enable the elantech touchpad to hevae like a simple ps2 mouse by adding the "i8042.noloop" option to grub, but thats was the easy part (I have bigger issues with the Cando display, which appears to be badly calibrated and is causing isasues).
