Can you suggest a sane configuration option which could be added to the
Ubuntu packaging for all users of this package?  It strikes me as odd
that the upstream maintainer would break the package on purpose, but
perhaps the explanation is that there really isn't a one size fits all
solution?  My other speculation is that enabling the indentation and
syntax highlighting etc will render the package too heavy to autoload,
but again, that too seems rather odd, and the package hardly needs to be
autoloaded except by users who actually edit Haskell files.  But any
input on how to actually resolve this is welcome.
