Since I deleted the revelation config file it worked again. Here, the file is located in: .gnome2/revelation
the content only has one line. Dock=searchbar\\0,2,0,0\\Toolbar\\0,1,0,0\\Menubar\\0,0,0,0 Try to delete the file and restart the application.
