amd64 22 June installed "something else" and running fine for an Alpha. Same thing, live drop downs wouldn't, update & upgrade then they would.

I can set Display resolution, select wallpaper from Pictures folder, set wireless WPA security, everything I've tried that wouldn't work before. Kudo's! From my testing working fine.
