The proposed package works fine for me. I opened a document in a fresh instance of lowriter and clicked on the "Page preview" button on the toolbar: lowriter did not crash. The menu is in the global appmenu so there's no regression for me. As soon as I click the "Page preview" button the menu moves into the application window which is expected. The menubar works well with loimpress and localc as well, no regression spotted.
