I redefined the patch as not being a patch just to get it out of the
sponsoring queue - while it is in fact a patch, it does not create a
"libasound2-plugins-extra" package as the header suggests (i e, wrong
solution to the bug).

I'm also wondering about whether this leads to any new Main Inclusion
Requests (or did we skip those for Quantal?).

I'm not a lawyer so I don't know if the patent etc question has any
relevance.
