Just tried with the latest "http://cdimages.ubuntu.com//daily-live/current/quantal-desktop-i386.iso"; , and the problem still exists. step : 1. Download and install the i386 desktop iso in VB 2. Single click the "dash home" button and wait for 3-4 seconds after you first time login the system then you will find the problem still exists.
