I have changed this bug to only represent the ignoring line breaks bug,
as the commit expanding the window is reported separately in Bug
#700220.

** Summary changed:

- gitg set extreme window size on long commit comment
+ gitg ignores line breaks in commit messages

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: gitg

- What I do:
+ What I do:
run gitg on repository with some "verbose" commit comments. The comments are
multiline with not too long lines.

- What I expect:
- comment/diff area scrollable to cope comment on multiple lines
-
- What happens:
- gitg ignores linefeeds in the comment, making it very long, and then adapt
the whole gitg main window to fit it. Thus the window gets extreme width many
times my desktop's width. When using metacity and selecting "Maximise", the
window still exceeds the screen width many times.
+ What happens:
+ gitg ignores linefeeds in the comment, making it very long.
