Thanks for this additional information. It appears that the video driver does not deal with the opengl code we use (which is very simple and essentially just what glxinfo is doing). What is the output of: $ lspci (I'm interessted in the exact video card model).
Can you run tools like: $ glxinfo on the commandline? Or does that cause a crash as well? ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Triaged ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Also affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: xorg (Ubuntu Precise) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: software-center (Ubuntu Precise) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1008864 Title: software center crashes when clicking pay apps To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/1008864/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
