Ok, I have tested with Quantal, using the stock kernel as of today.

I have also tested with mainline kernels 3.4.1 and 3.5rc1.

In all cases, the problem remains: suspend/resume works, but leaves the system
unable to reboot.
Any suggestions to try to develop a workaround are welcome.
Where can I look at the SATA or hard disk actions that happen during
suspend/resume?
