I have the same basic problem with 4 machines and the two phones I have tested - all conbinations were used on a regular basis under 11.10. Pairing Bluetooth works perfectly but when you get to the 'tick box' for 'Access the Internet using your mobile phone (DUN)' it spends a long time and finally times out without making a connection. On systems which have been upgraded to 12.04 the connection still exists in Connection Manager - when you try to connect it registers on the network but fails to complete a connection. I have tried on fresh installs, upgrades from 11.10 and even on a LiveUSB of LinuxMint Cinnamon (12.04 based).
This is a major problem for me as I use this form of connection all the time I am 'mobile' as all my phones have lots of unused data every month. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/952776 Title: bluetooth tether DUN fail launch wizard To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/952776/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
