Have X crashes on Ubuntu 12.04 on a Sony Vaio VGN-S5M with an Nvidia GoForce 6400
Tried Nvidia propietary drivers form 290.10 up tu 302.11. X server from stable version to 1.12 X crashes always starting the following programs: varicad, qcad, musescore, rosegarden... issuing segfault on Xorg log. Last version 302.11/1.12 makes nvclock segfault.
