Public bug reported:
I tried all possible combinations of the sound settings and was only
ever able to get sound out of the back jack.
No sound since I installed Ubuntu (9.04) on any Mac Pro (tower systems).
Upgrading over the years, now 12.04, still do not make sound.
I tried following sound debugging documentation on ubuntu.com but no
luck. I think there is just no support for these computers. Can
someone add support?
