Cerin: You say that your setup is "partially" fixed. What part is not
fixed?
The output you provided in #12 suggests that you have not rebooted since
resolvconf was updated to the Precise version. Please reboot and repeat
the same sequence of commands (as in #5) plus the following.
lsattr /etc/resolv.conf
cat /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf
cat /run/nm-dns-dnsmasq.conf
df
