As long as Firefox fails to process the key (!) commands — like Ctrl L, Ctrl W — when the plugin has the focus, Firefox must not abandon the focus to the plugin as soon as Firefox loads the requested document. Currently, he does that, and the combination of both of these behaviours give awkward situations. See bug 759089.
