Public bug reported: Since I have changed the NVidia graphic card driver from the proprietary to the open source nouveau, I have a strange problem with the response time of Nautilus and some other applications. For instance if I double click on a folder to open it, Nautilus is very slow. I have to wait more than 10 sec to have the folder opened. However, I have found by accident that if I move the mouse pointer outside the Nautilus window, the response time is very short as normally expected. It's like if moving the mouse outside a window, it forces in some manner the refresh of the window. I know that this sound complicated, so I have recorded for you a short video (attached here), to demonstrate the issue.
