jimav, ah I noticed that you have the Oneiric version of acroread but your using Precise. Try the following via the Terminal: sudo apt-get -y remove acroread && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y dist-upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install acroread
That should install the newest acroread for Precise (9.5.1). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/997728 Title: Ubuntu port of acroread degrades images (works on Win7) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/acroread/+bug/997728/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
