One more note: I googled a bit and found Reiner SCT's support forum where someone mentioned a package libpcsc-ctapi-wrapper0 which can be found at https://launchpad.net/~linrunner/+archive/ppa/+sourcepub/1727348/+listing-archive-extra Installation of that packages lead the author to a working setup. No success here :-(
