Similar story here... Logitech M515 mouse. Triple boot machine, Windows7, Lucid 32bit, 12.04 64bit. 12.04 is clean install into empty partition. Mouse operation may or may not work on boot into 12.04 (consistently fine in other OS's) remove/reinsert USB dongle after boot restores normal operation sudo modprobe -r hid_logitech_dj; sudo modprobe hid_logitech_dj; also restores normal operation
I'd guess at some sort of race condition. Is the new kernel faster than previous kernels?
