I'll start do it (IRQ...) this evening. Beside, I noticed that since at least RC5, I get the following error messages on the console that is behind X11.
May 23 14:17:38 smeagol kernel: [ 2159.336747] ata5: ACPI set timing mode failed (status=0x300b) May 23 14:17:38 smeagol kernel: [ 2160.360122] tpm_tis 00:04: A TPM error (7) occurred attempting to read a pcr value It occurs at each boot, and each time when I suspend and wake-up the machine. This morning, I encountered again the same problem as in post #32, however without Wifi (note that I misstyped in #32, the second bullet is "with Wifi"). I tried the sync command on the console, and it took at least 20 seconds. Then I pressed the hardware suspend key and the machine freezed with the kernel telling : [<time and date>] BUG: soft lockup - CPU#0 stuck for 22s! [power.sh - 3940] and some other lines that I have to extract from my phone-camera. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/898852 Title: CPU0:; EIP is at arch_local_irq_enable+0x5/0xb To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/898852/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
